About Andrew

Andrew commenced his working life in the building industry in late 1974 as an apprentice Carpenter and Joiner. In the final year of his apprenticeship he commenced and subsequently completed a 3 year TAFE post trade course (Building Foreman and Clerk of Works Certificate) and graduated with HONOURS, attaining the Master Builders Association Award of 2nd place in NSW, at which time he applied and was granted a Full (Builders) Licence by the Builders Licensing Board (NSW). He spent a number of years as a supervisor and project co-ordinator on major government projects before successfully transitioning into the development of residential projects. These multiple disciplines have resulted in Andrew having a thorough knowledge of construction and the building industry, with outstanding customer service skills. Andrew is a local resident of the Sutherland Shire, however conducts inspections all over Sydney and surrounding areas including Wollongong and Campbelltown. He is passionate about assisting his client’s in making informed property decisions as a Jim’s Building Inspector.
